The F-hole cutter handle is made of brass. Made in Chicago.
NOTE: If you already have a handle, they ARE compatible with Chenly cutters. If you are worried, you are welcome to email info@chenlytools.com to double check.
For make-your-own, the hole is roughly 1/2″ by 1/2″.
